The Moment
When that moment sprouts
Out of unprecedented warning
When that moment comes
I feel disturbance unmatched
Fear was seldom this conceptualized
I am outside it all
When that moment hits
External life is static
Nothing is real
Or ever has been
What that moment is here
I feel chosen without reason
I am not worthy of this terror
When that moment returns
I nearly forget it happens at all
But I remember its purpose
I have to get out of here
When that moment leaves
I feel temporary ataraxis
This is the most real I have ever felt
I am the nucleus to a ghost
